ABOUT ME

This is silent mushroom, a university student who is passionate about reading Chinese novels, but unfortunately there is no official channels for it and decided to do the job itself.

I really like translating novels, especially the ones that have been dropped. There is something so satisfying about taking a story that has been left unfinished and bringing it to completion.

English is actually my third language, and although I don’t speak Chinese, I receive help from my friends… and mostly edited MTL, but I make a great effort to make it understandable {proofreading is actually the hardest part, and it takes so much time}. I find the process of translation to be incredibly effort consuming but rewarding because it allows me to connect with readers from all over the world and share the stories that I love with others.
